Episode 1 - Fuel Pump Replacement
In this premiere episode of Burd's Garage, we diagnose a fuel delivery issue with our 1992 Mustang project car and replace the fuel pump. Also shown is a cool trick to drain the fuel out BEFORE dropping the tank!

Episode 2 - 1968 Mercury Montego Road Prep
This 1968 Montego has been sitting way too long and screaming to get back on the road again!!!! In this episode, we introduce you to our new project vehicle and go through all the necessary steps to get this car rolling again. Included are walk through to some vehicle systems evaluation and repairs common to old cars.

Episode 4 - Rear Disc Brake Replacement
This F150 that just came into the shop has some minor brake pedal pulsation and needs a brake fluid change. Here we show all the proper steps in diagnosing the issues and completing a rear disc brake overhaul.

Episode 5 - Small Block Chevy Engine Teardown Part 1
Today we start the complete teardown and inspection on this cool barn find Chevy 350 engine that came out of a 1973 Corvette we paid $300 for. In this part 1 we disassemble the engine down to it's short block, while showing all the proper teardown and inspection procedures and how-to tips. Can you guess what condition will the engine be in? Can we rebuild it or is it trashed? Watch and find out!
Episode 6 - Small Block Chevy Engine Teardown Part 2
In this episode we pick up where episode 5 left off and continue the short block teardown of our 350 Chevy engine project. If it proves to be a rebuildable engine, then we will prep the block for measuring and get it ready to send to the machine shop. Watch and see what happens!
Episode 7 - Crazy 'bout (and Cruisin') a '68 Mercury!
We finally get to drive our 1968 Montego project for the first time in this episode and go to a car cruise! Afterwards, we review all the details of this original ride and discuss why this is such a cool car. We also cover the how we are going to repair the rust in the left fender and review the work we did in replacing the floor pans.

Episode 8 - A Lot About Engine Measuring (and a little about math)
For this showing of Burd's Garage, we gathered up all the parts for our 350 Chevy engine project and measure the valve stem to valve guide clearance, check the cylinder walls and crankshaft journals for taper and out of round, and also check the deck surfaces for flatness. We show the same processes that a machine shop would use when you take your own parts in to be serviced.
Episode 9 - "Springing" Into Action!
It's almost springtime at Burd's Garage! That means that it's almost time to cruising in our 1968 Mercury Montego project car again! Before we can do that though, we have to address some major issues with it's suspension. In this episode 9, we diagnose and repair both the front and rear suspension systems, including the springs, shocks, ball joints, and upper and lower control arms.

Episode 10 - Chevy Engine Block Prep
Fresh from the machine shop, we jump back on our 1973 Corvette barn find engine and prep the block for rebuilding. In this episode, we explain and demonstrate all the proper procedures needed before any new parts can be assembled into this block. This includes honing the cylinders, deburing the oil drain holes, and installing the freeze plugs. Finally, we show how to prep the block for paint and get some new color on it!
Episode 11 - A COOLER Mustang!
In this episode of Burd's Garage, we jump back on our 1992 Ford Mustang project car and make improvements to help drop the engine temperatures. We also cover the importance and processes in cooling system maintenance.

Episode 12 - Automotive Door Repair, Refinish, and Replacement
This Chevy Malibu that just came into the shop was sideswiped in the right quarter panel and rear door. Here in this show we access the damage and walk through the steps and tricks in to how to repair and refinish a replacement door shell, then hang it onto the car. Then we discuss some tricks in pouring paint from cans and how to preserve it for future jobs.
Episode 13 - 'Operation' Mustang Fastback Pt 1 - Surgery Prep!
In this episode of Burd's Garage, we introduce you to our new 1965 Ford Mustang fastback project car and start prepping the car for restoration. We rebuild the door hinges and align the doors, then show how to replace a trunk floor section and drop off with an entire trunk floor out of another donor car! This makes it easier to see all the processes involved to give you some guidance to tackle the job yourself.
Episode 14 - Fox Body Mustang Electrical/Charging System Upgrade
We bring back our 1992 Ford Mustang project car in this episode and install a modern 6G 200 amp alternator. We cover the reasons needed to upgrade the main alternator feed wiring and install a heavier one. We also show step by step how to modify the additional electrical connections needed for this conversion. Finally, we review the correct techniques to repair and make wire connections by soldering and shrink wrapping.
Episode 15 - Bullitt Mustang Header Install
Our 2001 Bullitt Mustang project car makes a return to the Burd's Garage shop in this episode 15 for a Ford Racing shorty header swap. We also continue our preventative maintenance discussions by demonstrating how to change the transmission and power steering fluids in our Bullitt. Finally, we show how to make a thread chaser with just some nuts and bolts laying around your shop.
Episode 16 - 'Operation' Mustang Fastback Pt 2 - Rear Sheetmetal Removal
It's finally time to get really dirty on our 1965 Mustang project in this episode 16 as we start cutting it up! We cover all the important and necessary steps in removing ALL the sheet metal from the car from the 'B' pillars back. Once removed, we prepare the car to install our recycled 1967 coupe trunk floor from Episode 13 and also prep the remaining parts of the car for new body panels.
Episode 17 - 'Operation' Mustang Fastback Pt 3 - Rear Sheet Metal Replacement
In this episode 17 of Burds Garage, we fit all the new and recycled sheet metal for the complete rebuilding of the rear of our 1965 Mustang project car. We review all the steps and actions needed to make sure the panels have the same or better fit and flushness it did when it left the factory in June '65! Then we cover how to prep all the panels properly and weld them in place.
Episode 17 - 'Operation' Mustang Fastback Pt 3 - Rear Sheet Metal Replacement
In this episode 17 of Burds Garage, we fit all the new and recycled sheet metal for the complete rebuilding of the rear of our 1965 Mustang project car. We review all the steps and actions needed to make sure the panels have the same or better fit and flushness it did when it left the factory in June '65! Then we cover how to prep all the panels properly and weld them in place.
Episode 18 - 'Operation' Mustang Fastback Pt 4 - Floor Pan and Front Sheet Metal Replacement
Our 1965 Mustang Fastback is again the star of Burds Garage in this episode 18 as we continue the restoring the car by replacing the remaining rusty sheet metal including the dash, floor pan, firewall, upper, lower, and side cowl panels. We also cut off the entire front section to rebuild it separate from the rest of the car. Finally, we install new floor supports, frame connectors and torque boxes.
